THE JANOSKI, DECONSTRUCTED.
The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski HT 'Deconstructed' Men's Skateboarding Shoe gets back to the essence of the original. There's nothing unnecessary here—only premium material. High side taping with no contrasting line gives the illusion that the tape is higher, while still providing protection.
Classic and Clean
Supple full-grain leather inside and out delivers a natural fit and durability. The monochrome look is simple, allowing the classic design lines to shine.
A sockliner features Nike Zoom Air in the heel. This provides lightweight and responsive cushioning that snaps back upon impact for protection where you need it most.
A flexible, vulcanised outsole construction keeps your feet low to the ground for better grip and boardfeel. The rubber herringbone outsole enhanced grip further.
Janoski OriginsBack in '09, most skate shoes were breadloaves. Nike SB pro Stefan Janoski set out to break the mould. He wanted his signature shoe to be flatter, lighter and lower, so he could feel everything underfoot. "Make my feet bleed", he told us. We gave him a super-thin vulcanised sole and a collar so low it needed that iconic heel band to stay in place. We also gave him responsive Nike Zoom Air to keep his feet from bleeding for real. The result showed Stefan's no-nonsense personality in every detail—right down to the motto on his old-school patch.
